How this is calculated
- UTC calendar months, closed a few days after they end once every bill is in.
- Hosting, database, maps, weather and AI services, read from each vendor's billing API where one exists; yearly and monthly fees are spread per day.
- Where a vendor has no billing API, its line is our own count of calls times its published price, until the invoice is entered.
- Donations net of platform and card fees.
- Everything donated above the cost to run goes to the cause named for that month.
- The developer's time, hardware and personal subscriptions are not counted.
